Joseph Carrigan is a Software Engineer with over 17 years of software development experience in a broad range of fields including computer and software security, microcontroller development, data migration, data integration, data warehousing and network communication. He has a B.S. (’99) in Computer and Information Science from The University of Maryland, University College and an M.S. (’08) in Computer Science from Capitol College.

Laura began her career at Hopkins over 19 years ago in the Purchasing department. She also worked in the WSE Center for Language and Speech Processing before joining JHUISI in 2006. She is responsible for the oversight of most of the activities in the institute but her top priority is ensuring that anyone who comes to the office gets the information that they are seeking or a resolution to the issue they have. Outside of the office, Laura enjoys reading and movies and when motivation strikes, she may go running.

In her role, she coordinates and manages activities related to academic affairs – including recruitment, admissions, advising, scheduling, financial services, student services, and event planning.  Kim previously worked at Johns Hopkins University-SAIS, in the Hopkins-Nanjing Center’s graduate program office in a similarly aligned position to that of her current work in ISI.  She received her BA from Dickinson College in 1996, and her MA in International Education from SIT Graduate Institute in 2008.  When not in the office or spending time with family, she can be found training for her next triathlon, endurance swim, or cycling event.
Revelie Niles, Academic Program Administrator

Revelie joined Johns Hopkins staff after working in enrollment and academic advising at Walden University for 11 years. As Academic Program Administrator, she is primarily responsible for the day-to-day running of the Master’s programs for the Computer Science Department and Information Security Institute. She assists students with the administrative aspects of the programs, ensuring they are supported from admissions through graduation. Revelie received her BS in Marketing from Providence College and then her MA in Public Administration with a concentration in Public Policy from Walden University. In her free time she is a member of a book club, exercises, and enjoys volunteering at her church.
