ISI’s Ashutosh Dutta named an IEEE Fellow

Ashutosh Dutta, senior wireless research scientist and Lawrence R. Hafstad Sabbatical Fellow at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory and an adjunct faculty member at WSE’s Information Security Institute, has been named an IEEE Fellow, effective January 1, 2020.

“Fellow” is the highest designation that the IEEE bestows, and is reserved for those who have made outstanding contributions to IEEE fields of interest. Ashutosh is being recognized for leadership in mobility management and security monitoring in mobile networks.

IEEE members, who number more than 400,000 in 160 countries, are leaders in fields ranging from computers and telecommunications to biomedical engineering, electric power and consumer electronics, and aerospace systems.
