Miami Herald reports that dozens of lawmakers in Congress use tracking tools on their websites to collect personal information about online visitors, despite the fact that those lawmakers are often vocal critics of privacy practices employed by social media companies like Facebook. Yinzhi Cao, assistant professor of JHU Information Security Institute, is quoted.
